  3. Skim is fast forward or fast reverse. The controls are positioned either side of the 'time elapsed' rectangle:<p>

  7. When the mouse is directly over a skim control, it changes to a triangle. Clicking whilst it is in this state will activate the skim. Moving the mouse off the skim control or releasing the mouse button will stop the skimming.
